It is incredibly important to start your day off right with a wholesome breakfast. NEVER skip the most important meal of the day!
One of my favorite breakfasts is Greek yogurt topped with granola and fruit. This meal is so easy to prepare, and it tastes amazing.
Do it yourself:
- yogurt — Fage 2% plain Greek yogurt (Try to pick plain instead of vanilla or other flavors which are usually loaded with sugar. Also, go with 2% instead of 0% yogurts; Your body needs some of the yogurt’s fat to keep you full and help you absorb the calcium, so don’t cheat yourself.)
- granola — go with something that is high in nuts and low in sugar; my favorite is Paleonola, but Whole Foods has a huge selection.
- fruit — I always start with a banana and then sprinkle in whatever else is in season; blueberries and raspberries are especially delicious with yogurt.
